WTF of the Month

Why, oh why, do I watch indie flicks?

Mad Cowgirl is quite possibly one of the weirdest pieces of.....film....I've ever watched.

You might be thinking "how weird can it possibly be?"

Well, let's start with a few of the biggies:

1. Main character starts making out with her brother on the bed, then scene fades to black (implications are obvious).

2. Aforementioned character catches madcow disease.

3. After becoming infected, she rapidly loses her mind, fucks everything but the kitchen sink, then kills a bunch of guys (some of them mid-coitus).

4. The director apparently couldn't decide on one language, so he said "Eh, fuck it." and threw in five.

5 (and my personal favorite)

*drumroll*

The scene where her favorite actor is going down on her, on the living room floor. With mariachi music in the background. And, as she's getting off, she blows his brains out.

Mind you, I've stated several times that that's how I'd like to die (almost to a T). Which is why I'm so pissed. This bastard hijacked my death scene.

Anyway, aside from snuff porn, this is the weirdest shit I've ever watched.

...

You should go rent it.

The long road home

I'm gonna make this short and sweet.

I'm tired. We've just finished the second leg of a three-day drive home. We're at Cass and Jamie's apartment near San Diego, where we'll camp for a couple nights. The drive was pretty uneventful, and seemed to go pretty quickly. We'll be home sometime Wednesday evening.

Last night, as I was carting luggage up to the hotel room in El Paso, my right shoulder finally gave up the ghost (read: I tore the cartilage in my shoulder). I can still use it, but it's pretty much a glowing ball of pain and bad. I'll get it looked at sometime later in the week once we're back at the base.

That's it for now. We're headed to the beach tomorrow, then who knows what.

More updates later, as needed.
